Equinox, from the latin aequinoctium is the time of the year where day and night are of equal (aequi) length and the sun rises exactly in the east and sets exactly in the west, everywhere. The ancient thought that to be able to create a day that lasts as long as the night the gods had to stop fighting and agree to peace, at least for one day. From this image of equilibrium in 2002 Equinox was founded as a project that aims to unify life and work in one harmonious reality.

From 2006 to 2010 Equinox bought and renovated a 250 year old traditional Savoyard chalet close to Morzine in France, transforming it into a small Hotel de Charme for exclusive stays in the high mountains.

Situated in the centre of the ski domain of Portes du Soleil, one of the biggest in the world with 650 kilometres of piste, the chalet operated with great success hosting people from all over the world.

From 2002 to 2006 Equinox organised luxury charters on two beautiful sailing catamarans Levante and Meltemi.

Exclusive weeks in the Greek Ionian with skipper and hostess and passionate attention to every detail. The most picturesque inlets and harbours, the small tavernas on the quay, the delicious candlelight dinners anchored in secluded bays.

In 2010 Equinox moved to Provence, Cote d‘Azur acquiring a marvellous Bastide of the 1600’s and transforming it into a luxurious bed and breakfast with suites, apartments and a small restaurant.

The attention to detail and the search for harmony meets once again in this new project, born where the nature is still unspoilt, between the sea and the mountains.
